If you are in Plymouth, stop by the show called Silent Shifts located in the university at their local museum called the Museum of White Mountains. It’s dedicated to stories and information about the White Mountains.
I have a piece at the current show, which is a modern version of the bowl in the Mount Washington Mountain. It’s really popular in the spring with skiers going down the treacherous part of the trail named the bowl. On the upper right side of this area are water falls that are covered over with ice. This painting is acrylic measuring 48x36 inches.
This show is called Silent Shifts curated by Joe Klementovich. The project explores how the intersection of simultaneous changes in our climate, technology, and access to the outdoors are affecting our experience of winter.
