The Beauty of Dusk
The Beauty of Dusk
48x36x1.5 Acrylic
Landscape and nature paintings have been some of the most popular genres for artists throughout human history. It’s clear that mountains often serve as a symbol for a variety of things in art such as a powerful obstacle, continuity, and many other things.
Artists from all across the world have often used mountains in their works to emphasize a sense of power from both the divine and nature.
In particular this piece has an expansive feel to it. Diebenkorn was a big influence for me in this piece. This is an atmospheric painting of the Mount Washington.
