Sunrise at Cathedral Ledge
Sunrise at Cathedral Ledge
48x36 Acrylic
Grant Winner for the Art Adventure Grant sponsored by Newburyport Art Association- This piece represents the paintings that will be done for Bogs in the Mount Washington Valley area, which was what the grant was about.
With its 700-foot elevation, Cathedral Ledge offers panoramic views of the Saco River Valley and the White Mountains. It's no wonder it's a popular spot for taking in the scenery. The natural rock formations of the ledge, especially its vertical cliff face, are fascinating geological features that add to the beauty and interest of the area.
This painting is shown from a few miles awhile at a National Park area. The bog has a beaver who lives there too!
Cathedral Ledge is a rock climbers paradise, this painting is a few miles from the spot
