When I look closely at the Bark, there are so many pastel colors next to the black shapes.There are over 30 species of birch trees!The most distinctive feature of birch trees is their bark. Birch bark is typically white, but it can also be gray ,black, or yellow depending on the species. The bark is often papery thin and peels off in long, horizontal strips. What a fascinating tree. There is the last snow shower here, with large big snow flakes.
