On Location as I am painting Cathedral Ledge in North Conway. I have painted many views from Clients property as commissioned pieces. I always learn so much because each client has a different space for where the painting must go.

 

Commissions of your view or a specific sized pieces

I have been doing commissions of people’s views for a few years. If you have a particular space that is hard to fill with art work, let me know.

How it works. If you would like a painting of your view. Please send me some pictures of your view, pick out a style of work on my website that you like, send three pics of your wall and room that the piece will be hung in. This gives me plenty of information to go on. If you do not like the piece you do not have to buy it, I can simply send it to a gallery that carries my work. This way there is no pressure.

Some past commissions have been a view of childhood lakes, wedding presents, or birthday presents.

This wall is all of my work. The upper left piece was a specific size so that the painting would fit in the corner.

Art is the Highest Luxury

 
 

When I was eight, our school went to a field trip to Strawbery Banke. I fell in love with it then, the gardens, the crowded turn of the century houses. It was such a beautiful escape. Now I live close by and I paint such an amazing part of Portsmouth.Strawbery Banke is the oldest neighborhood in New Hampshire to be settled by Europeans, and the earliest neighborhood remaining in the present-day city of Portsmouth. It features more than 37 restored buildings built between the 17th and 19th centuries in the Colonial, Georgian and Federal style architectures. The darkest colored house is the oldest house in the group. I have a group of historical areas that I am painting, or known as historical paintings. Look out for more!
